I had a pleasant stay at Best Western Carmel's Town House Lodge, with its great location just a few blocks from downtown and the beach. My room was cozy and clean, and I loved the partial ocean view that accompanied my stay. However, the lack of air conditioning made the warm afternoons a bit uncomfortable, and parking was tight, especially for larger vehicles.
